GILBERT, Ariz. – Trinity senior forward Kelcie Finn has been selected as the Longstreth/National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) Division III National Player of the Year, it was announced on Wednesday.

Finn claims the honor for the second year in a row, becoming just the second two-time winner of the award. Messiah’s Julie Barton previously won the honor in both 2009 and 2010.

Finn’s repeat honor comes after another outstanding season. She also repeated as the Longstreth/NFHCA New England West Region Player of the Year and the Player of the Year in the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC), and was selected as a Longstreth/NFHCA First-Team All-American for the second straight year.

Finn led her conference with 29 goals and 68 points this season, finishing in the top-six nationally in both categories. She broke every offensive record at Trinity over the course of her career as she finished with 92 goals and 39 assists for 223 points.
